MERCEDES BENZ POP TOP CAMPERVAN in COOCHIEMUDLO ISLAND, Queensland for sale

Ok starting from the top, the pop top canvas and zips are all in a good condition with no broken zips or ripped canvas and the mosquito mesh is sound. All the panels of the van are in good condition with a minor bump or scrape which is to be expected. There is a new windscreen and rear screen and no rust has been detected behind either of them. Overall the van looks in good condition. It has a bull bar in the back with a tow hitch. There is heaps of storage inside even for longer trips, our longest was 3 months. The fit out was professionally done and has a double bed with good mattress which converts to table and couch, fridge, sink and water storage tank, external shower accessed from back of van. It has a duel battery system with 12 and 240 volt power. (easily hooked up to solar if wanted) We have just fitted a new battery. The cabinets in the van are in good working condition and the upholstery is undamaged. The motor is in excellent condition, it is a 2.9lt. diesel 5 cylinder and has always been well maintained. The consumption is good and driving normally you get about 650km per tank of about 65 ltr. The van has been rust proofed and invoices to that effect can be supplied. I have also treated the roof of the van with a UV protector and reflector to reflect the heat from above. It has made a 7 degree C difference. The van also comes with a good size external awning which is in near new condition. The tyres are in good condition with lots of mileage left. The dash and all other vinyl has no cracks and is in good condition. We always used armour guard on those and it is covered by a dash mat. The curtains are also in good condition. All round the vehicle is in a good condition and makes a wonderful getaway van which can still be parked in a shopping centre car park which is a great plus. The van is licenced to seat four people. As to a toilet we used a portable toilet and had no problems on any of our trips.
Don’t know what else to say except that my wife is doing a degree and we don’t get away as much as we used to so she wants a smaller car to zip to uni and back. We are sad to have to sell it as it has become so part of us. Please call me for any further information.
